The Media FreeStore is part of a growing culture of gift-economics and sharing. Websites like AirBnb, Lyft, Couchsurfing, are part of the popular culture and growing by leaps and bounds every day. That said, more local movements in sharing of things, skills, talents, leadership, friendship, food resources, working spaces, cars, tools … all are making their way into the every day life of communities across the world.
